Requesting Digital Art Commissions

Looking for artwork created just for you? I offer a limited number of custom digital painting commissions each year, giving you the opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind piece designed around your vision, style, and story. Whether you're looking for a portrait, character illustration, fan art, or a unique concept, every commission is created with care and attention to detail.

How It Works

1. Inquiry

Fill out the commission request form below or email commissions@dalianaleon.art with your idea. Please include:

  • Subject or theme (portrait, character, pet, fantasy, etc.)
  • Intended use (personal, gift, social media, commercial, etc.)
  • Preferred dimensions or aspect ratio
  • Style references or inspiration (optional)
  • Deadline (if applicable)

2. Consultation

We'll discuss your vision, budget, and any reference images. I'll provide a custom quote, timeline, and project details before we begin.

3. Agreement & Deposit

Once everything is approved, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your commission slot. Work begins after the deposit is received.

4. Creation

Your artwork will be created digitally, and you'll receive progress updates at key stages so we can ensure the piece is heading in the right direction.

5. Final Delivery

After the final payment is received, you'll receive the completed artwork as a high-resolution digital file, ready for printing or personal use.

Pricing

Pricing depends on the complexity, subject matter, and intended usage.

As a general guide:

  • Simple Portraits — Starting at $100
  • Detailed Character or Portrait Illustrations — Starting at $150
  • Complex Scenes or Multiple Characters — Starting at $250

Commercial licensing is available upon request and is quoted separately.

Turnaround Time

Most commissions are completed within 1–3 weeks, depending on complexity and my current schedule. Rush commissions may be available for an additional fee.

File Delivery

Final artwork is delivered digitally via email or download link and includes:

  • High-resolution PNG
  • High-resolution JPG
  • Print-ready version (when applicable)

Additional file formats can be provided upon request.

Terms & Conditions

  • Commission slots are limited and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Minor revisions are included during the process. Additional revisions may incur an extra fee.
  • Unless commercial rights are purchased, artwork is for personal use only.
  • I retain the copyright to all commissioned artwork and may display it in my portfolio or on social media unless otherwise agreed in writing.
