Requesting Commissions

Looking for something uniquely yours? I offer a limited number of custom art commissions each year, giving you the opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind piece created specifically for your space, style, and story. Every commission is painted on high-quality linen canvas, chosen for its durability and timeless elegance.

How It Works

1. Inquiry
Fill out the commission request form below or email me at commissions@dalianaleon.art with your idea. Include details such as:

  • Subject or theme (portrait, abstract, landscape, etc.)

  • Preferred size and orientation

  • Color palette or mood

  • Deadline (if any)

2. Consultation
I’ll discuss your vision, budget, and any inspiration images. I’ll provide a project proposal with pricing and estimated completion time.

3. Agreement & Deposit
Once we finalize the details, a non-refundable deposit (typically 50% of the total price) is required to secure your spot. This deposit covers materials and time allocated to your project.

4. Creation
I’ll bring your concept to life, keeping you updated with progress images along the way.

5. Approval & Final Payment
When the piece is complete, I’ll send final photos for your approval. Once the remaining balance is paid, your artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped.

Pricing

Commission prices vary based on size, complexity, and materials. As a general guide:

  • Small (up to 12"x16") – Starting at $150

  • Medium (16"x20"–18"x24") – Starting at $450

  • Large (24"x30" and above) – Starting at $950

Custom quotes will be provided after the consultation.

Timeframe

Most commissions take 3–6 weeks to complete, depending on size and my current schedule. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee.

Shipping

All commissioned works are shipped within the U.S. via tracked and insured mail. Shipping costs will be included in your final invoice.

Terms & Conditions

  • Commission slots are limited and accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • All commissioned works remain the intellectual property of the artist and may be used for portfolio or promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
